Raising Money
Money is the fuel by which we create our desires. It makes it possible to undertake missions to serve others.
Money comes from creating value -- usually by creating the means to solve some problem or meeting a need.
In one sense, it flows to ideas. For there always seems to be money available to breathe life into a good idea, especially one that will make more money.
Your mission may be one such good idea. And when you remove all the inner and outer obstacles to its manifestation, money will flow to it if it truly has a place within the greater plan. That means learning the ways of creation that will be needed for the new world, as well as developing a new relationship with money less rooted in the struggle and conflict of our past. Here's an article at PeaceOptions that can help begin your shift.
Most of us, though, are still caught up in the old beliefs about money and where it comes from. We're raised to think it comes from effort -- the sweat of our brow, putting nose to grindstone and trying to work that way. And often doing work that we don't want to do, selling our souls for the fruits of the tree of life in a job we grow to despise because it fulfills so few of our inner needs.
Is it any wonder, then, that sometimes no matter what we do, money does not flow at all?
Your mission, then, is an environment where you can begin to see the impact of the many ingrained beliefs and practices that may have supported your role in the old world, but have no place in the new one to come. It may set the stage for situations where you can begin to release their hold, but only if you see them in the spirit intended and meet them free of the emotional patterns with which you created and experienced life in the past.
Since your mission is essentially the birth of a new expression of you in the world, it comes with all the needs of a newborn infant. One of those is the means of support and sustenance to get by until it can survive on its own.
That means is money.
New missions are ripe with needs for money. Gotta get the word out, you say. Hire more people. Develop new products. Feed the poor. Clean up the environment.
The needs for money are endless. But sometimes so is its lack.
While there are many vehicles by which to raise money (borrowing from credit cards, family or friends, or seeking equity money through angel investors, venture capital firms, etc.), the bottom line is you don't have what you need to do what you want.
Needing to raise money is a direct consequence of lack -- a lack that exists either in your consciousness, the mass consciousness with which you are involved, or both.
You can chase money, or you can shift how you see it and address the things within you causing its lack. One perpetuates the sense that something's missing, and you may just have to exhaust yourself or sell your soul to get it.
The other expands who you are and makes you into a more capable creator. This is the approach we prefer.
When you perfect yourself, there will be no limits to the contribution you can make to your world.
